Ashok Bakthavathsalam was honored with the prestigious "Doctorate" by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. He received a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, NY, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore.
